soundcard not detected on a thinkpad380z

Hi

To have knoppix initialize sound properly, I need to use the following
commands:

modprobe sound dmabuf=1
modprobe cs4232 irq=5 io=0x530 dma=1 dma2=0 mpuio=0x330  mpuirq=9
# this might also work
#modprobe cs4232 irq=5 io=0x534 dma=1 dma2=0 mpuio=0x330  mpuirq=9
modprobe opl3 io=0x388

Otherwise, knoppix doesn't detect the sound card by itself.

Could this be fixed and how?
