| You can try to boot with:
| "knoppix nohwsetup"
| then you can run (as root) "hwsetup -v"
| and look ...
No luck.  I've booted successfully using the above option, switched to console 
(ctrl+alt+f1) and run "hwsetup -v" from there.

Computer hangs before showing anything.

Any other idea?  8-?
