An other way to explore is maybe the 2.6 kernel which have features for embeded systems, and which allow to suppress many things you don t want and might be very very small i guess. last but not least, you go to a "second hand" shop and buy a computer with 32MB RAM for less than 100 Euro ;) , or just RAM for 10 Euro ;) Regards Alain
