amd64 wheezy file-roller expects gzip format

If not misused with wheezy, file-roller/amd64 wheezy, in my hands,
expects gzip format, refusing to decompress, untar *.tar.gz files. Any
of the commands i used (tar -zxvf ... including file-roller itself)
complained about that. I had to open the tar.gz file (VMD binary) on
another machine with amd64 lenny or squeeze.
