Package: firmware-intel-graphics Version: 20241210-1 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected], [email protected] User: [email protected] Usertags: amd64 Dear Maintainer, *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I install Debian Testing on my Notebook Asus ExpertBook P5 P5405CSA-NZ0101X but after the installation and press Enter in grub, nothing happen. There are only some logs about ACPI on the screen. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I can connect to the Notebook with SSH. Now I install the pakage firmware-intel-graphics. The notebook should start now in X, but it doesn't. I have to manualy update my initramfs with: update-initramfs -u * What was the outcome of this action? Now, everything works, the notebook starts in X and I can login. If I install the pakage, the initramfs should be updated. *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.12.17-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled firmware-intel-graphics depends on no packages. firmware-intel-graphics recommends no packages.
