Dear Jeffrey and Martin,
Thank you both very much for the given & offered help - really appreciate that! I almost figured it out thanks to Jeffrey‘s hint on the other comments, but I must have messed up something else that currently prevents the device from booting properly. I ordered an TTL UART adapter which should already have arrived last Friday, but that‘s a different story ;D I‘m quite confident that I will be able to fix this once the delivery finally arrives. I’m already looking forward to this tiny project for the holidays :-) I will probably write an update later today.
