Yet x86-64 v2 will still be supported, based on the initial email, even when=
 power8 was released during the same time-frame? So power8 is considered ret=
ro computing, but not Intel v2? That power8 machine is also more powerful co=
mpared to Intel cpus for that time period. Power7 and older I totally unders=
tand, but Power8 is still a decent machine.
