Next future "Hard Dependency on Rust" for apt

How will affect Debian GNU/Hurd the arrival of what is described in the

In a brief summary, the adoption of a "Hard Dependency on Rust", for
the tool 'apt', starting in May 2026.

It seems to me very relevant for our Operating System.
