proper forum for criticism of the HURD project itself. This is a Debian mailing
list specifically

Regardless, if you're disappointed with HURD's development, why not contribute
to help make it better? I'm sure the upstream folk at GNU would be very happy to
receive more contributions. You could always pitch in for Debian GNU/HURD
specifically as well
