does this mean I can not (yet) test hurd-amd64 disk images locally?

Is there an emulator that does support this in Debian?

Does there exist a workaround?

A real bootloader would support this, right?

I'm trying to find out if there is a way to test hurd-amd64 at all or if al=
l of
this can only be tested for hurd-i386 right now and I cannot do more than j=
ust
hope that while the tools allow hurd-amd64 it just cannot be tested (right =
now)
in an emulator?
