Since nobody else has chipped in: I looked at that a year or so ago, and 
I think at the time I concluded that older versions might work but that 
no effort was being made to keep it running. At that point the PSU went 
in Octane #1, and Octane #2 started tripping the main breaker...

I suggest trying it to see what happens, but my experience with older 
systems suggests that you /might/ be better off with nothing newer than 
Lenny. /Please/ keep us updated on how you get on.
