CI20 Creator as media center (kodi)

Hi there,

So right now what prevent the Creator CI20 from being a good
replacement of a RPI2B+ (for example) is the video hardware decoding
capabilities, right ? Is anyone working on it ?

Also, does anyone knows the status of the official kernel ? Are CI20
patches integrated upstream yet ?
