Which would be overridable with the same > command-line option? Usually this is caused by gcc running out of virtual memory on 32-bit MIPS (which has on 2GB of user vm). IMO this should be fixed in gcc by adjusting the default values of the ggc-* params on 32-bit MIPS (or even all 32-bit architectures). James
