em...，Simple introduction: Loongson 3A4000 is mips64r2 compatiable cpu, we implemented mips64 compatible vz according to the 

MD00847-2B-VZMIPS64-AFP-01.06.pdf 

The qemu  based on 2.7, kernel based on 4.12, support two kind board type: 3A4000+rs780e and 3A4000+ LA7A, but the code still in local repo. 

we are prepare doing the code push jobs based on more newer qemu and kernel, maybe need some time to finish the job

It's not supported for the malta/mips64r2 combination you are trying to
use. It's clearly possible that it is supported for mips64r6, but it's a
different instruction set, so you can't run a standard Debian
distribution on it.

Lixing mentioned virtualization. In that case it is indeed supported
like on other mips64r5 CPUs. For that you need to use add the -enable-kvm
option to the qemu command.
