Then download the package manually and install it with "dpkg".

# apt download hfsprogs
# dpkg -i hfsprogs_540.1.linux3-5+ports_ppc64.deb

Alternatively:

# wget http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian-ports/pool-ppc64/main/h/hfsprogs/hfsprogs_540.1.linux3-5+ports_ppc64.deb
# dpkg -i hfsprogs_540.1.linux3-5+ports_ppc64.deb

then:

# umount /boot/grub
# fsck.hfs -y /dev/sda2
# mount -a
