Hello,

in 2016, the previous maintainer of the ppc64 port changed the default
baseline to a more generic target which disabled AltiVec [1].

Since we're running into issues [2] because of that change from time to time,
I'm actually looking for the specific commit that introduced that change,
but I cannot find it neither in src:gcc-XX nor in src:dpkg, most likely
because the changed happened before src:gcc-XX was move from SVN to Git.

Does anyone happen to remember where and when that change was made?

Thanks,
Adrian
