I have opened two merge requests now:

- https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/-/merge_requests/1431
- https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/-/merge_requests/1432

This should fix the installer on powerpc and ppc64. The installer is still
broken on ppc64el when installing on PowerKVM, but it seems that neither
Debian's kernel maintainers nor IBM developers upstream care about this
problem enough to actually fix it.
