You're welcome. I was basically waiting for #1085949 [1] to be fixed.

We would have to verify whether this is a problem specific to the powerpc
port and not a generic bug in the LXDE meta package.

Please run such commands with an English locale by first temporarily setting
the locale to "C" or "en_US.UTF-8":

export LC_ALL=C or export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8

This is to be expected since Debian Ports doesn't mirror the source packages.

I would suggest using the following sources.list:

This is a result of the problem I have described in [2]. I will look into it.
