Yes, you can use the serial port on the Wallstreet, using something like
"console=ttyS0" in BootX.

You can get a USB to serial converter that will let a modern system 
communicate with the serial port on the Wallstreet. I haven't done this, 
so I don't know the settings. Instead, I use a second Mac, such as a Mac 
IIci, with a standard Mac printer cable between the serial ports, then 
run ZTerm on the Mac IIci to see the output from the Wallstreet.
