OK, I'll try to reproduce this on my iBook G4 as well.
I'm pretty sure though that FAT32 support should just work, but we'll see.

As for the LLVM issue: There are some limitations with LLVM on 32-bit PowerPC,
so we may have to turn off llvm-softpipe for the time being on 32-bit PowerPC.
