Source: mesa Version: 26.0.7 Severity: serious Tags: ftbfs Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past) X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected] User: [email protected] Usertags: ppc64 Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Noted the long-standing FTBFS of Mesa on ppc64, attempted to sbuild locally which produced the same result. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? Performed an sbuild on an Apple G5 which failed in the same manner as the buildd. Disabled nouveau in debian/control and the build was successful. Will attach a patch to this bug report. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers unreleased APT policy: (500, 'unreleased'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: ppc64 Foreign Architectures: powerpc Kernel: Linux 7.0.9+deb14-powerpc64 (SMP w/2 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_CA:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
