Hi everyone,

I am employed with IBM as a Debian maintainer for the S390x. I would like to assume responsibility for this bundle. I previously replied to the bug below about updating it due to OpenSSL errors.

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1080317

Many changes and bugs have been fixed in the upstream version of the s390-tools, but the corresponding version update has not been included in Debian. I have reviewed the most recent issues with the s390 tools and am working on them; I will likely update the s390 tool package in Debian. In my recent learnings, I have reviewed a few big-endian architecture issues and have found a solution.

Not only endianness issues I have taken care of the Linux bug as well on s390.

I will give an update on s3900 tools package issue, once the build pass through.

Thanks,
Gayathri.
