For the record of other people potentially following this: I was not able to solve https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1074558. In latest upload of MairaDB 1:11.4.2-4 the sparc64 is the only failing build at the moment at https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=mariadb
