I will give this a try tomorrow. I did try to use the SP to fetch the
Solaris 11.4 ISO image over NFS but that failed entirely. I suspect that
the SP wants NFSv4.1 and I generally just live with v3.

I have a massive FreeBSD server with a pile of ZFS based storage.
Loads of 16T and 20T seagate disks in mirrors etc etc.

Yes .. I have all of that on FreeBSD natively.

If I can get to GRUB tomorrow that will be a very fine day indeed.
