We do indeed have a revision of Solaris 11.4 running on that machine.
It is a bit weird that I can not bootstrap GCC on it yet but at least
an old hidden SIGSEGV was found and fixed on some of my code. I will say
the code was tossed together with the intention of never going past 256
threads of execution and we did indeed go way way past that. It works!

I think Tony has a step by step procedure to get Debian installed on
the S7-2 machine. Seems like something to try over the weekend.
