Re: Newbie question

Actually, a while back, I did manage to get apt working.  My problem 
was getting a package repository set up, but I could use apt to get
source files (apt-get source <pkg>), and it would retrieve the source
and unpack the whole mess for me.  However, I haven't had any
time to go further with it.
