I just finished compiling evolution 1.4 on a debian sparc system, and could not have done it in the 12 hours it took without the use of auto-apt. Has anybody gotten evolution to compile on cygwin? Or any of the underlying packages? Judging by the recent discussion on the list, it seems that there is a while to go before any significant portion of the debian packages get ported. Any ideas from anybody on when apt might get ported? Is there anything a non-coder can do to help? Is there currently an automated build machine for any (nascent?) debian-win32 ports tree? Could I perhaps help in offering a machine to do compiling/testing on? A debian win32 repository would in my mind be a valuable addition to the debian family. satadru "flame me, for I am full of love" -Icaza
