After the first time trying the program (debtags-edit) the following
exeption occured:

Exception was: PackageDBException: Can't find a candidate version for
package "cocoon-doc" [FIXME: this error message text is just an
uninformed guess by Enrico about what might have gone wrong].
Aborted

You really should catch this as there are some packages in the database,
which apt can't find a correct version for.
