I maintain a large number of packages related to the OCaml programming language. I've seen that a lot of them have already been tagged with the tag langdevel::ml. I haven't found on your site the complete list of packages tagged with that tag, but I think the name is too much generic. There are tons of different ML implementations and some of them are so different to be considerent differ programming languages. Moreover since the implemented-in tag has subtags implemented-in::ml and implemented-in::ocaml I propose the same distinction to be used for langdevel tag. Recognizing all ocaml related libraries is easy since we (debian ocaml maintainers) have agreed on a naming policy. All libraries have a development part which has a name like libfoo-ocaml-dev and an optional shared runtime part named libfoo-ocaml where foo is the name of the library. If you add the tag langdevel::ocaml I can retag all ocaml libraries related packages, but given the above naming schema I guess it's easier for you to do so with some script ... Thanks for your work, Cheers. --=20 Stefano Zacchiroli -*- Computer Science PhD student @ Uny Bologna, Italy zack@{cs.unibo.it,debian.org,bononia.it} -%- http://www.bononia.it/zack/ If there's any real truth it's that the entire multidimensional infinity of the Universe is almost certainly being run by a bunch of maniacs. -!- --tThc/1wpZn/ma/RB Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAvZTj1cqbBPLEI7wRAnWBAKC562BzcR0G5fmxJLY5hSXtflsxJwCgvh9Q KgEo2lHt5rIOfx/7Y/LiONQ= =Dktg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --tThc/1wpZn/ma/RB-- --===============1863419652== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline _______________________________________________ deb-usability-list mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/deb-usability-list --===============1863419652==--
