I can increase the ramdisk_size parameter since I have 768 MB RAM. I can also add some directories/files to NOT_TO_RAM. So, are you sure the follow error could be fixed ? mount_devfs_fs(): unable to mount devfs, err: - 2 -----Message d'origine----- De=A0: Mark Clarkson [mailto:[email protected]]=20 Envoy=E9=A0: jeudi 24 juin 2004 13:53 =C0=A0: Rubikz Cc=A0: Bootcd-user Objet=A0: Re: [Bootcd-user] bootcd hangs at boot time Hi Rubikz, On Thu, 24 Jun 2004, Rubikz wrote: > NOT_TO_RAMCD (NOT_TO_RAM v NOT_TO_CD) =3D . . . . . . . . . . . . . 0 > RAM_ALL (etc v home v root v NOT_TO_RAM v NOT_TO_CD) =3D . . . . . . > 408932 > Needed RAM (RAM_ALL - NOT_TO_RAMCD) =3D . . . . . . . . . . . . . . > 408932 > 90 % of RAM =3D . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 29491 > --- WARNING --- > Not enough RAM (Needed RAM > 90 % of RAM) > --- (e)xit (i)gnore --- i Never (i)gnore 'Not enough RAM' errors. I think you need to add some directories/files to NOT_TO_RAM. You're tring to stuff 400MB of files in RAM! BTW: I'm about to submit a tmpfs patch in the next couple of days which will allow you to do this. That's if you do have enough RAM, and don't mind testing it :)
