--Lmo7SJrsth5mQokd Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline Package: tasksel Version: 3.64 Severity: important X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] Please replace fcitx with fcitx5 in Bullseye for Chinese desktops. fcitx doesn't work for Wayland users. And the upstream develop of fcitx is in maintenance mode. fcitx5 is developed by same upstream, and works for Wayland. Fcitx5 reaches its stable version in 2020-11. I and other DDs have used it for months. And it works well. So I think it's better to replace fcitx with fcitx5 for Bullseye, instead of documenting in release notes that tells users to switch to Xorg. --Lmo7SJrsth5mQokd Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iHUEABYIAB0WIQTiXc95jUQrjt9HgU3EhUo4GOCwFgUCYDvRQgAKCRDEhUo4GOCw FgDlAQC7dfHVv8B0M8YeUTEb7DwNoa3kONIsDrehyxbYgjjSUQEAxBJj0IWTXN66 uVtgkFMEIEzMzXi6ATTQgIuYx13Z5wo= =LAwg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --Lmo7SJrsth5mQokd--
