Hello everyone!

The Debian Reunion Hamburg will be held from May 23-30 at Fux/Dock
Europe, Hamburg, Germany again, being the 5th Debian event at this
location.

It will cover topics for Debian users, contributors and developers. For
more information about the event see

Talks will be on Saturday and Sunday, while the other days will be
reserved for hacking and a day trip on Friday. An amazing Cheese&Wine
party will take place Thursday evening.

** Call For Proposals **

We are accepting talk proposals until May 14th (but will also consider
late submissions on a case-by-case basis). The talks committee consists
of Lee Garrett, Michael Banck and Rudolph Bott.

Please send your proposals to [email protected], stating the
duration of your talk (either 20 or 45 minutes including Q&A) as well as
a title and a description of the event. We are especially looking for
talks by minorities. The intention is that talks are held in English
but if you don't feel comfortable giving a talk in English, please let
us know.

Talk topics can be anything Debian or Free Software related.

Please also provide us with information such as additional speakers,
scheduling restrictions, or any special requirements we should consider
for your event.

The sessions will likely be live-streamed and recorded on video, and
these recordings will be released under a suitable free licence.

** Sprints, Lightning Talks and Ad-Hoc Sessions **

If you are interested in organizing a sprint, please talk to the talks
committee and/or the organizers. We currently plan a lightning talk
session on Sunday and will likely solicit ad-hoc sessions (e.g. outcomes
of the hacking days) on Sunday as well.

** Sponsors Wanted **

We still need more sponsors to sign up to cover the cost. And we need
your help: If you have an employer or another company possibly willing
to donate for covering the costs of the Debian Reunion please point them
at https://wiki.debian.org/DebianEvents/de/2023/DebianReunionHamburg#Sponsors_wanted
and contact Holger ([email protected]).

** Registration **

Registration is required and possible until the event starts, please
