Bei mir funktioniert es, allerdings verwende ich Debian Stable.
Als Workaround:
Der Ort dieser Lesezeichen ist: ~/.config/gtk-3.0/bookmarks

Dort kann man einfach eine Zeile hinzufügen, z.B.

file:///home/philipp/gnu/rms/talks ImportantTalks
