So kenne ich das. syslogd war unter UNIX/Linux viele Jahre lang
Standard, bis die systemd-Typen ein eigenes Logsystem brauchten,
welches parallel existiert.

Jetzt werden die Distributionen langsam syslogd aus der
Standardinstallation.
