Yes.  Most of the things that are objectionable about Chromium are not 
included in Qt WebEngine.  That is because most of the things that are 
objectionable about Chromium are not part of the core HTML/CSS/JavaScript 
rendering engine, which is what becomes Qt WebEngine.

For an early alpha look at what can be accomplished with Qt WebEngine, I 
suggest you take a look at Privacy Browser.
