It's popa3d(8) fronted by relayd(8) for TLS on OpenBSD. My KDE setup is stock Debian Trixie. I've seen some delays and managed to cause Kontact errors when manually polling for mail during the interval pull of email. I've kind of backed off and have a 5 minute interval set for polling email, and I've just stopped polling manually for the most part. Something else is when there's lots of email. I was away for a couple of weeks and used s-nail to read email on the email host. When I returned, there were about 1000 emails piled up, and it took 5-10 minutes for the KMail polling to occur and the rules to execute. I haven't done any debugging yet. So far all I can offer is anecdotal remarks. Best, --Bruce
