I'm not sure what you're trying to get confirmation for but the message fr=
om upstream in response to your comment is pretty clear : KMag doesn't work=
 on Wayland (yet ?)=2E

Sure it would be better to say so in an explicit error message to the user=
 as you proposed=2E But looking at the source repo activity [1 ] KMag is in=
 life support mode and has seen mostly only translation and metadata update=
s over the last years so I wouldn't expect that to happen unless someone ad=
opts it=2E
