That worked. Possibly they added that as a new option but had > it default to the new behaviour rather than the old behaviour. And another one. Yesterday my "editable location bar" stopped being that way. No matter how many times I set the view to be editable, it kept reverting a bread crumb trail. This one now has to be set in Settings -> Configure Dolphin -> Status & Location bars. The View setting is now just a temporary override.
