Re: Jessie update notes?

Hi Hannu,

I am running wheezy, and had to install the package "update-notifier"
to get the notices.  In jessie that has become a transitional package
pointing to gnome-packagekit, which is rather different and has lots
of dependencies.  People have proposed several alternatives; google
"debian update-notifier" for more information.
