For some reason the screen resolution of my laptop Fujitsu ESPRIMO Mobile D9500 went wrong. The reason I don't know. Probably something went wrong with writing on the hdd. Checking with xrandr: --- --- xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default Screen 0: minimum 800 x 600, current 1024 x 768, maximum 1024 x 768 default connected primary 1024x768+0+0 0mm x 0mm 1024x768 61.00* 800x600 61.00 --- --- The available resolution should be: 1280 x 800 ( WXGA ) --- --- What to do? Is there any easy way to correct? For example to reinstall all the packages responsible for the screen? with best, -hv
