Solved Thank you ... I had not checked the kernel version, I thought that I had installed stretch/testing. I have upgraded to testing (kernel 4.6.0) lspci shows: 02:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 802.11ac Wireless Network Adapter (rev 30) Folder /lib/firmware/ath10k exists, but /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377 is missing I have copied that folder from https://github.com/kvalo/ath10k-firmware.git and copied (rename would propably be fine): sudo cp -p /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/firmware /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/firmware-5.bin_WLAN.TF.1.0-00267-1 /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA9377/hw1.0/firmware-5.bin And the WIFI works fine, Bluetooth is also fixed after upgrade. The only thing I have found until now is that the Flight mode button (Fn-F3) does not work in Gnome (Gnome shell) - not tested with other window managers. Another thing I have done to let the touch pad work with the live DVD was to change it to basic in bios (non I2C). I know that I could get the newer kernel via backports, but I think that the testing is stable enough for me. Br, Benny
