Hello, I also have a (relatively) recent Asus machine, a Zenbook duo, and I didn't succeed in installing a Debian Stable; however, I successfully installed a Debian Sid (that was in January, 2025) and it still works like a charm today. I was a bit frightened by the "Unstable" character of the Sid distro, but overall, it is very far to be unstable, and it feels like having a "rolling release" GNU/Linux, which is quite nice. Good luck! Best regards, Pierre Le 01/08/2026 à 13:25, David Lishchyshen a écrit : > I have an ASUS Vivobook 15 OLED (M1505), and I’ve heard there are a lot of proprietary drivers on it. For example, in the BIOS and in Windows, before installing the drivers, the CPU heats up to 80–90 degrees and the fans are running at full speed. > > I found this article: https://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Asus. But my model isn’t listed there. What do you recommend? Is it possible to install Debian on this machine? > > Best regards, > David
