Great! Simple as that. We (ftp2.de.d.o) made similar experiences,
projects using some kind of CDN (e.g. Mozilla back in the days!)
redirect many users to our mirrors, other projects mostly idle even
following "big" releases.

The link below shows our statistics for the debian-cd part of
ftp2.de.d.o. As you can see, following the Jessie release we did not see
that much traffic. Most of it was rsync traffic, which indicates that
not that many end users downloaded ISOs from our site.
