Internal News/Happenings ------------------------ Debian Installer Buster Alpha 1 release The Debian Installer team announced=C2=A0[4] the first alpha release of t= he installer for Debian 10 "Buster". On 18=E2=80=9320 August 2017 a sprint wa= s held in Hamburg, Germany, to discuss options and the future of the several services currently provided by Alioth. A service based in GitLab is being worked on as the future git service. As for the mailing lists hosted on lists.alioth.debian.org, some of them will be retired and others are elegible to be moved to the lists.debian.org service. Until 23 October 2017 the applicants can choose a project and contact the corresponding mentors in order to send their small contribution related to the project and their application.
