Ajuda para (Re)compilar o kernel

Pessoal,

Estou tentando adicionar um novo módulo e no manual fala "Add 
CONFIG_INPUT_FPC1020 to the kernel menu configuration".

Acredito que isto seja (re)compilar o kernel, mas como fazer isto?
