problem med fsck

Hej!

På en av mina datorer har jag både Debian och Mint.

Vid uppstart kör Debian fsck på partitionen jag har Mint på och
returnerar 8 "operational error" och jag får upp en "maintenance
prompt".

När jag startat Mint kan jag naturligtvis inte checka den partionen
eftersom den är mountad.

Min fråga är: Hur gör jag för att tvinga Mint att checka partitionen
vid start?
