I was full-upgradeing my debian testing machine and everything went smoothly. Then, everything crashed: KDE Plasma, my IRC Client, but most importantly: my terminal emulator, Konsole. After rebooting Konsole, there was no way of seeing the progress of the apt upgrade process, but it was still using 40% of my CPU so I figured it was updating. I got help over on OFTC and we figured out that the apt process had stopped because It was displaying an NVIDIA warning I couldn't accept since the terminal emulator wasn't open. Running sudo dpkg --configure -a restarted the upgrade normally, and know when I do apt update it says everything is up to date, so I think nothing worse has happened. -- Andrés
