cd-paranoia with a dash says:

 This version uses the libcdio library for interaction with a CD-ROM drive.
 The jitter and error correction however are the same as used in Xiph's
 cdparanoia.

eom - eye of MATE
ephoto - Enlightened image viewer
feh - fast, lightweight image viewer
gthumb - advanced image viewer and browser
gwenview - for KDE
imview - Image viewing and analysis
... and on through the alphabet.
