Well... not quite. You now have let know all ~6000 subscribers
of debian-user that you want to unsubscribe, but no one of us
can do anything about it...

Only you can remove yourself. Send a mail to

  [email protected]

with the subject "unsubscribe" and follow the instructions.

Tip for the next time: most mailing lists do this. Look into your
mail headers and you will find something like:

  List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe>

which hints at what you can do.

BTW: intelligent mail software can "see" this header and offer an
"unsubscribe" button for this. One reason more to ditch gmail?
