Wow. This is going to make a megathread. I think we do have positions
which are difficult to reconcile. Only with a lot if respect to each
other we have a chance to survive this, So please...

My position? I do free software as a conversation with fellow
programmers. My source code is intended for humans to read it,
to criticise it, to learn from it. And the other way around.

As I am not interested in conversing with machines, I'm not
interested in reading machine generated code posing as human
written (no problem with compiler output, but that one is
not cosplaying).

If I may pose a wish, it'd be that "AI generated" code be
clearly marked, for me to go in search of another project.
